چکیده

In this paper we propose a regularized relaxation based graph matching algorithm. The graph matching problem is formulated as a constrained convex quadratic program, by relaxing the permutation matrix to a doubly stochastic one. To gradually push the doubly stochastic matrix back to a permutation one, a simple weighted concave regular term is added to the convex objective function. The concave regular function is not a concave relaxation of the original matching problem. However, it is shown that such a simple concave regular term has a comparative performance as the concave relaxation of the PATH following algorithm, which works only on undirected graphs. A concave-convex procedure (CCCP) together with the Frank-Wolfe algorithm is adopted to solve the matching problem, and some experimental results witness the stateof-art performance of the proposed algorithm.

A graph matching algorithm based on concavely regularized convex relaxation

In this paper we propose a concavely regularized convex relaxation based graph matching algorithm. The graph matching problem is firstly formulated as a constrained convex quadratic program by relaxing the feasible set from the permutation matrices to doubly stochastic matrices. To gradually push the doubly stochastic matrix back to be a permutation one, an objective function is constructed by ...

Parallel Jobs Scheduling with a Specific Due Date: Asemi-definite Relaxation-based Algorithm

This paper considers a different version of the parallel machines scheduling problem in which the parallel jobs simultaneously requirea pre-specifiedjob-dependent number of machines when being processed. This relaxation departs from one of the classic scheduling assumptions. While the analytical conditions can be easily statedfor some simple models, a graph model approach is required when confli...

CS369E: Communication Complexity (for Algorithm Designers) Lectures #5–6: Lower Bounds for the Extension Complexity of Polytopes∗

You’ve probably seen some polynomial-time algorithms for the problem of computing a maximum-weight matching of a bipartite graph. Many of these, like the Kuhn-Tucker algorithm [?] are “combinatorial algorithms,” meaning that all of its steps work directly with the graph. Linear programming is also an effective tool for solving many discrete optimization problems. For example, consider the follo...

You’ve probably seen some polynomial-time algorithms for the problem of computing a maximum-weight matching of a bipartite graph. Linear programming is also an effective tool for solving many discrete optimization problems. For example, consider the following linear programming ...

ON THE MATCHING NUMBER OF AN UNCERTAIN GRAPH

Uncertain graphs are employed to describe graph models with indeterministicinformation that produced by human beings. This paper aims to study themaximum matching problem in uncertain graphs. The number of edges of a maximum matching in a graph is called matching numberof the graph. Due to the existence of uncertain edges, the matching number of an uncertain graph is essentially an uncertain var...
